Yugi Muto

Yugi Muto is the main character and hero from Yu-Gi-Oh!

. He is the reincarnation of his split personality named Yami Yugi who has an real name, Atem.

Yugi Muto is a young boy who receives the Millennium Puzzle from his grandfather Solomon Muto who made an voyage to Egypt, he was bullied by Joey Wheeler and Tristan Taylor, but he became Joey and Tristan's best friend, after his friends are beaten up by Ushio, Yugi manages to complete the Millennium Puzzle who awakens Atem who takes possession of him to send Ushio to be stalked by man-eating giant worms. His split personality named Atem has no memories and has adopted the name Yami Yugi, Atem becomes Yugi's partner and protects him from the bullies who had hurt Yugi and his friends. Yugi and Yami Yugi are voiced by the same actor Dan Green who also voiced an legendary Pokemon Entei from Pokemon 3: The Spell of the Unown.

Yugi Muto has a friend named Téa Gardner who has a crush on him and Yami Yugi.

Yugi is one of the characters that appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX when he meets Jaden Yuki.

Yugi has two signature monsters named Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, the next being Silent Swordsman LV and Silent Magician LV who evolve into a stronger form.

He is one of the main characters that appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions along with Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor and the others including Bakura Ryou.
