Vegeta

Prince Vegeta (simply known as Vegeta) as a major character in the Dragon Ball franchise who makes his debut as the main antagonist of the Saiyan saga of Dragon Ball Z only to become an anti-hero for the rest of the series up until the Boo saga where he serves as the supporting antagonist turned deuteragonist. He is also a supporting protagonist in Dragon Ball GT and the deuteragonist of Dragon Ball Super.

He is Goku's arch-rival in training and the prince of Planet Vegeta before it was destroyed by Freeza who worked for him until eventually betraying for his own desire to rule the universe. However he slowly develops a change of heart and becomes an ally to Goku and his friends.
