Van Hohenheim is a supporting character in the manga/anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. He is the father of Edward and Alphonse Elric and the husband of Trisha Elric who one day leaves (his reason for doing so differing depending on the version) who years later reunites with Ed and Al and joins them on their quest to defeat the homunculi.
