Tor

Tor is a character from Mighty Orbots. He is an Orbot created by Rob Simmons. He was voiced by Bill Martin in the English dub and Tessho Genda in the Japanese dub.

About Tor

Tor is the muscle of the quintet of Orbots and is the strongest. If Rob, as the Orbots Commander, isn't there to guide him and the others directly on battling the S.H.A.D.O.W. monsters and henchmen, he'll sometimes fill in the leadership role and act as the substitute. But if and whenever the situation calls for it, he'll listen to the others' instructions.

Physical Appearance

Tor is a buff, male robot whose main colors are silver, red, and blue. When he and the other Mighty Orbots go into gestalt mode by combining themselves with one another, Tor retracts his arms and legs into himself, acting as the head and torso.

Personality

Tor is a braggart, highly self-opinionated and good-naturedly egotistical. In his mind, he believes he is greater than he really is and constantly likes to flex, and show off his physique, which his female teammates find to be an annoyance. As a result, he tries too hard to impress them and often fails. He's kind and supportive to his comrades. Although he may seem slow-witted, he proves to be quite quick-witted when it comes to taking down his and the others' foes. His voice is an impression of the muppet character, Link Hogthrob.
