Thomas "Tom" Sawyer is the main villain who made is first and only appearance in The Fairly OddParents episode, "Shelf Life". He was voiced by Grey DeLisle, who also voiced Vicky and Tootie, Brianna Buttowski in Kick Buttowski, Sam Manson in Danny Phantom, Kitty Katswell in T.U.F.F Puppy, High Priestess in Samurai Jack, Frankie Foster, Goo, and Berry in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Riley Daring in The Replacements.

In the episode, "Shelf Life", Tom, after he was wished out of the book, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" plays his role as a villain by trying to alter the book of astrophysics when he tricks Timmy Turner (Tara Strong) and his fairies. Using Cosmo's wand, he wished himself into other books, changing book titles, plots, and storylines. He then wished himself into the book, "The Rat in Spats", where he made fun of the Rat's spats and broke the rule in the book: Never frown. The Rat, annoyed and enraged, stepped on Tom with his shoe like a bug, and Cosmo (Daran Norris) retrieved his wand back before Timmy wished Tom back into his book for real.
