Star Butterfly is the main protagonist of the Disney animated TV series, Star vs. the Forces of Evil. She is voiced by Eden Sher.

Background Information

Star Butterfly is a regally and unbearably beautiful and extremely cute intergalactic princess from the Kingdom of Mewni, who has been sent to Earth by her parents to live a normal life, after many years of fighting evil in space. While on earth she lives with the Diaz family, and takes Marco Diaz on adventures in other dimensions, and in battles with monsters.

Appearance

Star has her long blond hair, and hearts on her cheeks. She wears a elegant blue dress with puffy light blue sleeves with dark blue strings around them, a medium blue vest with a darker blue trim and gold buttons, a blue puffy skirt with light blue ornaments and two strings with several hearts, a gold tiara, white socks and black shoes with light blue puffs on the toes.

Marco: "Hey."
Star: "Hi."
Marco: "Is this the life?"
Star: "Yep. Because you know, magic is gone forever."
Marco: (giggles) "Just kidding. we've accidently destroyed it!"
Star: "I'm sorry, what's that?"
Marco: "Doomsday spread all over every dimension at this point!"
(Marco explodes himself, leaving Star alone)
Star: "Did he just say we destroyed the magic by... accident?" (looks around) "Uh, guys?" (The camera zooms out nothing's there; Star sees Eclipsa) "Eclipsa?"
Old Eclipsa: "Oh, Star, you're here"
Star: (shocked) "AH!"
Old Eclipsa: "Why don't you chew on this?" (Old Eclipsa shoves the chocolate bar into Star's mouth) "I'm hungry." (makes eating sounds)
(The treadmill under Star's feet gets longer and Star screams, as she falls through a door and lands on Old Moon's leg)
Old Moon: "Owwwwww! Ah, I'm just messing with ya, sweetie. We've lost all of the magic years ago." (taps herleg with his cane, laughs and then starts snoring)
Star: "Mom? Why do you look like that?"
(Old Marco comes up and puts his walker down on Star's hand)
Old Marco: Eh, Star, look who's talking.
Star: Marco?! Why are you besties so... elderly?!?
Old Marco: "Now, when was the last time you looked in a mirror?"
Star: "Huh?" (Star turns behind her, looks into a mirror and sees an old version of herself; Star screams in terror)
Old Star: (her half body comes out and shakes her) "Wake up, Wake up!"
(Marco wakes Star up from her nightmare)
Marco: "Star! Wake up!"
Star: "Marco! (gets up) Marco. It was terrible!"
Marco: "That same nightmare again, huh?"
Star: "We've been stuck in our lives without magic, both dimensions crammed into one, and we all getting super-old and wrinkly! Well, I aged well, but the rest of you looked horrible!" (starts crying)
Marco: "Don't cry, Star. I knew we can find the way to bring the magic back, 'cause I got a surprise for you!"
Star: (stops crying; in glee) "A surprise? Wow..." (giggles happily)'
