Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, is the obvious main hero of The Amazing Spider-Man film series by Marc Webb. Like his original Earth-616 counterpart, he is capable of superhuman strength, speed, agility, and of course, spider powers. He is played by Andrew Garfield.

- In the comics, Peter gains his powers by getting bit by a radioactive spider in the hand. Instead in the first film, he gets bit in the neck.
