Speed is the main protagonist of Speed Racer: The Next Generation. He is the long lost son of Speed Racer Sr. and is X Racer's younger brother. He drives the Mach 6 and dreams of becoming a legendary racer, while also bringing gasless technology to the world.
Story[]
Raised in an orphanage, Speed has no idea that his father is the legendary Speed Racer! The only clues to his past are a signature red scarf, and a mysterious key. Speed didn't know what these clues meant, but it sparked his interest in racing. He soon realized that racing was in his blood and begins attending the elite Racing Academy, where he was able to pursue his dream.
