Severus Snape is a character from the famous book series Harry Potter. He was portrayed by the late English actor Alan Rickman, who also played Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Appearance [ ] Snape is described as a man with greasy black hair, a hooked nose and sallow skin. He has cold, black eyes and is always wearing black robes.
Early life [ ] Snape got bullied in school by the Marauders, and looked down upon by fellow Slytherin students. One of his only friends was Lily Evans, whom he was in love with. As they grew older, Lily began to disapprove of him studying the dark arts. When he called her a mud blood during their fifth year, their friendship ended.
