Red is a major character of the Pokémon franchise, appearing in several games, as well as the Pokémon Adventures manga. He is a playable character in the Kanto-based games (Except Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee).

Red is a human of average build and light complexion. His outfit varies, but always includes a red cap and blue jeans. He typically has black hair, but appears with brown hair in some games.

In his NPC appearances, Red is portrayed as a silent and stoic type.
History[]
In the Core-Series Games[]
Red appears as the player character in Pokémon Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Fire Red, and Leaf Green. In these games, the player explores the Kanto Region as Red. Sometime after the events of the Kanto-based games, Red has secluded himself to Mt. Silver. Eventually, Red heads over to the Alola Region with Blue, and is a Trainer at the Battle Tree.
