Owen Lars was a character introduced in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. He was the step brother of Anakin Skywalker and the step-uncle of Luke Skywalker.
The elder Owen shown in A New Hope was portrayed by the late Phil Brown. The younger version of Owen that appeared in Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, and Obi-Wan Kenobi is portrayed by Joel Edgerton.
