Nevertheless, Ozzy is aware of the mistakes and is capable of learning from them as he strives to do better. Another factor of his impulsiveness is to make up for ruining Frank's reputation when he caused to vomit on Shane's teacher so Ozzy can make a positive difference for the lifestyles of Frank, his daughter, himself, and everyone else around him. He is goofy, adventurous, resourceful, rebellious, carefree, inept, and funny.

Trivia[]

  • He and Drix are the main characters in the T.V. show, Ozzy and Drix.
  • He is only one of two characters that have a biological first name and a normal last name.
  • Will Smith, Anthony Anderson, D.L. Hughley, Matthew Broderick, Alex Winter, Harry Connick Jr., John Cusack, Cuba Gooding Jr., Harry Enfield, Woody Harrelson, Chris Tucker, Chris O'Donnell, Todd Stashwick and Martin Short was considered to voice Osmosis Jones before Chris Rock was cast.
  • Osmosis is the only cell to have natural color facial hair.
  • Osmosis Jones is similar to Sam Witwicky; they both have their great-great grandfathers whom they idolized (Sam Witwicky's great-great grandfather is a famous explorer in history and Osmosis Jones' great-great grandfather is a fearless brave policeman) and they both follow their footsteps to prove themselves and be a part of their family legacy.
  • Osmosis is also similar to Sly Cooper; they both have ancestors whose legacy they follow in their footsteps and they manage to have the help of their sidekicks (Murray for Sly and Drix for Osmosis) where they defeat their nemesis and restore their name and birthright.
  • In the first episode episode of Ozzy & Drix, he was shown working snot patrol and desiring to get a promotion which doesn't make sense as he was seemingly promoted at the end of the movie.
    • Also in the show, he and other cell's are required to wear anti-coagulation suits when outside of the human body to survive, but in the movie he fought Thrax outside of Frank's body for a while just fine. These two things could imply that the show isn't canon to the movie and or takes place in a different universe, meaning Jones would continue to live his life in Frank.
  • Osmosis is similar to Flik from A Bug's Life; they both are blue-skinned protagonists who are often ridiculed by others for the trouble they unintentionally cause within their homes, both are in love with a purple-skinned female (Princess Atta for Flik and Leah Estrogen for Osmosis), both are determined to save their homes and prove themselves, both fight their arch-enemies where they manage defeat them by tricking them, and both are praised as heroes, getting the respect they deserve.
