Ohno is a character from Mighty Orbots. She is the first Orbot created by Rob Simmons and also acts as his assistant. She was voiced by Noelle North in the English dub and Miki Ito in the Japanese dub.

About Ohno[]

As Rob's first Orbot, Ohno is so named due to her tendency to say, "Oh, no", occasionally, possibly due to a slight malfunction with her. She keeps his lab operational and keeps the other Orbots motivated. Whenever it's time to do battle, Rob/the Orbots Commander and Ohno ride in the Beam Car, an ultra-fast vehicle that is used to enter the center core of the gestalt form of Mighty Orbots. This is the most important, vital piece to bring the giant robot to life, otherwise it can't function without that. She can operate the basic functions, but operating more than those and doing battle alone is too much for her to handle on her own, and in the Orbots Commander's absence. Sometimes she feels insignificant, neglected, and unappreciated. In "The Wish World", she wishes she were a human and her wish is granted by a S.H.A.D.O.W. agent named Plasmus, who was in disguise. But when the going gets tough, she's still there to lend a helping hand when needed. She provides the repair kit, having it on hand and coming prepared should the Orbots Commander be unavailable in case Mighty Orbbots goes out of commission.

Physical Appearance[]

Ohno is a slender robot whose stature is the size of a child. Her primary colors are pink, red, and white. She has orangish-red "hair" and black eyes. Her outfit includes a pink helmet with ear coverings, antennas on the sides, and mostly matching short dress. As a human, she wears the same outfit, has the same hair color, and has the same body type, but instead of having metallic material, she has fair skin, and her helmet is now white with a pink streak in the middle.

Personality[]

Being the mother hen type, she acts like a bossy, little sister and is domineering, naggish, and feisty, which tends to bug the others. But she's also supportive and rarely has a soft side beneath her tough exterior.
