Viceroy Nute Gunray is a major villain in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, serving as the secondary antagonist of Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace, a major antagonist of Episode II Attack of the Clones and a supporting antagonist in Episode III Revenge of the Sith and the 2008 Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series. He is the viceroy of the Trade Federation and a high ranking member of the council of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
