Nick Loopin' Lopez was Blade Ranger's co-star. When Dusty asks Maru in guilt of causing Blade to be grounded, Maru reveals that Nick crashed and was destroyed during filming of CHoPs 139th episode when a stunt gone wrong and Blade being unable to save Nick in time. The show was cancelled, and Blade quits his job as an actor, which is why he is leading the Piston Peak Air Attack team today.
