• The "Ao" in "Aono" means "blue".
• Several years before Fresh Pretty Cure! released, Dai Sentai Goggle Five happened to have a character named Miki Momozono, which combines elements from "Miki Aono" and "Love Momozono".
• Sora Harewataru, another Pretty Cure, also happens to have a mother named Remi.
