Here's a tip: When a category is added to a Category Page, you have to be really careful about what you put there. A lot of people think that it means "some of the characters in this category are also this other category I just added". What it really means is "all of the characters here are also in this other category".
A little bit ago, you added the "Heroes" category to the category page for Egomaniacs. You probably meant that some Egomaniacs are also Heroes. But because it's on a category page, that means every Egomaniac is also a Hero. I took it out and four others that a different person included last year.
If Red hair vandalizes said page with fake images and false villain-fighting info again like he did with the Ami Onuki page, can you consider protect? I have a feeling he might revert my edit and that is why I blocked him on the Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi wiki (since I am the admin there).
Ok. Just so you know, Red hair has dumped other wikis with fake images and false info like the Bobby's World wiki and not only does he revert anyone that removes it, but when admins warn him to stop on his talk page, he just removes it from his wall. To put it simply, he does utterly vile vandalism I had to block him from both the Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and Bobby's World wiki because of all that.
An image spammer. Thought this wiki was just a dumping ground for random character images (especially images that were very similar to each other that stitching them side-by-side would basically give you a mini-movie to play and rewind LEL – just one representative image is enough for an article, we don’t need the whole movie for that) when the rule here is that images uploaded here must be used in either articles, categories, or templates, otherwise they get pruned like orphaned files. And, a few of those images were semi-lewd in that they paid too much focus to female underwear so they definitely had no place to be here. Yeeted out :dab:
So far, only Muzzarino, MaintenanceRequired, and I are present on the server above. Before we make the server fully public, we need to sit down and write the server rules to govern the server. At least we already have a member-verification system where newcomers are unable to access the main chat channels unless they first verify themselves at a designated verification channel (to prevent spambots, GrievousHero sockpuppets, and non-editors from joining)
A user by the name of GeneralGrievousHero4Life17 has been vandalising pages on your wiki, inserting false information. He has done this on a number of wikis, such as the Cartoon Network Wiki and the Heroes Wiki. I would suggest a swift block, as his original account was globally blocked by FANDOM and he is currently circumventing said block.
Now operating under the account GeneralGrievousHero4Life18, he has since made a page titled YTP King with the purpose of mocking the user. I would suggest blocking GeneralGrievousHero4Life to resolve this matter for now.
If you check the [history of the page on General Grievous (2008), you will see that there currently is an edit war going on, of which I am a part. You will also see the four similarly-named accounts used by the same person.
The situation is that this person feels General Grievous is a hero and has created several wikis and at least one other website in order to tell his view of the character. That would be fine except he is also going to other wikis that have information on Grievous, such as this one, and attempting to force his viewpoint on those wiki.
Prior attempts to talk with him have failed and to ask him to at least be open to the possibility that others might not see the character as he does. His response is typically to say "Grievous is hero. Fact." and "It's the truth." In addition, he has stated several times on other wikis that he will continue to create new accounts so he can keep making edits.
Please check into this. I will hold off making any further edits to that page so you have time to look into it. Thanks.
Update on my request. The account he was using before, GeneralGrievousHero4Life16, is now globally blocked. Within five hours, he had created a new account, GeneralGrievousHero4Life17, in order to get around the block and to continue forcing his agenda on this wiki. It's been necessary for me to continue with the edit war in order to revert what I now consider deliberate vandalism.
Here are statements made within the past day on the Vader: A Star Wars Theory Fan Series wiki:
"I know I will never stop coming back until the Grievous Hero facts are safel."
"Grievous is a hero fact and I can spread the truth around and people will enjoy..."
in discussing some videos he made with another person: "That's why Grievous kills you and tortures you in my videos. More comming soon! :D"
"Grievous is a portrayed as a hero but Dave filioni's stupid bias tries to portrayl wrong". (Dave Filoni was the showrunner for The Clone Wars TV series.)
"I hate you know.I really do you hope you die slow because you need a wakeup call. My channel will grow and I will become great my with FACTS vs your biased opinions. I will be soon doing something to where you cannot disliking my videos so have fun with that!" "So yeah, I pretty wish you stop and all is God's hands as usual you pathetic little piece of crap." "DIE SLOW MOTHERF*CKER!"
"HAAHAHAH! You're pathetic. Grievous is a hero and you're just biased and can't accept facts! HAHAHAAHAHHA!"
If nothing else, please fully protect the page on the version without his edits. Whether that's permanent or for a shorter amount of time like a year, I leave to you judgement.
Actually, no. This is a case where a person came up with a different point of view about a characters than most other people have. "Headcanon", as it's typically called. And as I said before, that's fine. He's a part of a couple of wikis and has his own website where he talks about that point of view. That can be good because it shows creativity and I wrote a series of blogs about why we need things like this and fan fiction in general.
This isn't an issue of me disliking someone who make a mistake. It's an issue of he's convinced that only he sees The Truth about this character, so it is his mission to force others to see The Truth as well.
To that end, he has done the following:
Created about 20 accounts in order to keep making the edits he feels he must make.
Stated that he will not stop creating new accounts, in order to do this.
Been argumentative and stubborn, to the point of saying that he wants to see other people die and is making videos that depict killing them.
So what I've been asking is for you to take a look at the situation and determine if a block on this person and/or protecting the pages about General Grievous is warranted to prevent further disruption from new accounts that this person has repeatedly stated they will create. I believe that I have presented enough reasons in a calm and respectful manner to show that it is.
I found two of his accounts not blocked already for arguments on wanting to see life threatening deaths of people and banned them from here for it. Of course nobody likes to see gore, stabbings, murderings, nothing against anyone and to depict such violence. Thanks for telling me about him.
