Marsha is a minor character from the Looney Tunes short, "Punch Trunk". She is the wife of John and mother of Genevieve. She was voiced by Bea Benaderet.
About Marsha[]
It's nighttime outside an apartment and Marsha is having a smoke while reading a book when her daughter, Genevieve, walks in the living room. Marsha asks what she's doing up and she tells her mom there's an elephant in her dollhouse. Marsha looks at her skeptically for a moment, sighs, then breaks the fourth wall with simply saying, "Too much television", as she thinks it's just Genevieve's imagination running wild. Marsha carries her back to bed, telling her to do so like a "good girl" and to "forget about those nasty dreams". When Marsha finds Genevieve out of bed and walking through the living room again, this time carrying a slice of cake on a plate, she asks where she's going with it. Genevieve replies, "It's for Teeny". Marsha asks just who Teeny is and Genevieve repeats that it's the elephant in the dollhouse she mentioned earlier. Still not taking her seriously, Marsha carries her off again and checks the inside of the dollhouse herself to prove to her what she claims isn't true. As Marsha begins to tell her just how naughty she is being about it, the tiny elephant, Teeny, sticks his head out of a window and trumpets at her. Dumbfounded that Genevieve was telling the truth all along, she calls out, "John!" before fainting. Her husband rushes to her aid, answers back, "Marsha!" (as her name is revealed), and lifts her up, her hair having become unkempt.
Physical Appearance[]
Marsha is a svelte woman with fair skin. Her reddish-orange hair is worn with a bun on top of her head and she has black eyes. She wears a black bow tie, a shin-length, chartreuse green flare dress with a cut-out for the shoulders, and black high heels.
Personality[]
Marsha is originally a skeptic, doubter, and the seeing-is-believing-type. As a parent, she is the typical kind who is loving, motherly, and nurturing to her daughter.
