Maleficent is the main villainess of the 1959 Disney animated film Sleeping Beauty. She is an evil fairy who spreads misfortune in King Stefan's kingdom merely for her own pleasure who curses Aurora when she isn't invited to her christening. She is Mal's mother. She is currently voiced by Susanne Blakeslee, who also voiced Lady Tremaine in Disney's Cinderella, Queen Grimhilde in Disney's Snow White, Mrs. Turner and Wanda in The Fairly OddParents.
