WALL-E MVR-A1

MVR-A is a minor character in WALL•E. He does not speak during the film. This robot is a mass-produced, self-acting hovertransportbot.

MVR•A has yellow front lights, red back lights and small blue LED eyes at their black front screen. There were many of these robots in a line at the dock of the Axiom where the probe ship arrived carrying EVE units and WALL•E.

MVR•A units at the dock were at sleep mode. When GO-4 noticed that one of the EVEs had found a plant, singly, MVR•A unit 06 was awaked from his sleep. He moved to GO-4 and he hopped on MVR•A and a robotic arm placed the EVE as a cargo on him. When WALL•E realized that the transport bot carrying EVE was leaving he immediately went after it at full speed. Eventually he reached MVR•A.

GO-4 and two SECUR-T units guarding MVR•A seemed not to pay any attention towards WALL•E who tried to talk with EVE who was at sleep mode. When MVR•A arrived at the bridge of Axiom, he did not actually take part to the scene on the bridge (although he hovered still most of the time).  MVR•A seemed either not to understand or not to care much about the things happening around him. When MVR•A took EVE and WALL•E to the Repair Ward, he is not seen again after he left the ward with GO-4.

The MVR•A units are not the only cart like robots on Axiom. There are also the bigger, gray ones that deliver trash to Axiom's Garbage Disposal. And there are the smaller, green ones, too.
