Lionel Duffy pic

Lionel Duffy is a character from the short, Hanna-Barbera, TV pilot, Duffy's Dozen. He is one of the seven boys, twelve kids in all, adopted by Mr. Duffy and Mrs. Duffy.

About Lionel[]

Lionel is among the adopted kids mentioned and introduced. He and the other Duffys stay in a camper as they travel often. It's declared that they undergo several challenges, like waiting on one another to finish showering and sharing the vehicle where they sleep. They go on road trips around the U.S. to see the varied, renowned landmarks.

Lionel and the rest of the Duffys have corn cobs for lunch while at Yellowstone Park. They find a bear leaving their camper after it raided for food, taking and eating a cake whole, and carrying Mr. Duffy's bowling ball. The bear continues walking off after failing to get its claw free from a hole in it. Mr. Duffy pursues the bear to take his ball back while Lionel and most of the other kids (Corky went to get assistance from the park ranger) follow Mrs Duffy. Everyone heads over to Mr. Duffy and the bear while bringing a stretcher and first aid. Mr. Duffy is still trying o remove his ball from the sleeping bear's claw when the park ranger comes, shoots a tranquilizer dart into Mr. Duffy, and sends him to his slumber. Afterwards, Lionel and the others are riding on the road again.

Physical Appearance[]

Lionel is a slender, black boy with tan skin, black hair in an afro, and has black, beady eyes. He wears a short-sleeved, light gray shirt; red vest; true blue bell bottoms; and black lace-ups.
