Leslie and Stewart
Leslie Angela Rudich is the 6 year old sister of Stewart Rudich and first appeared in the season 1 episode, "Partial Terms of Endearment". She is shown to be bullied and teased by most of her classmates. Her brother Stewart takes care of her because she lives in an abusive family.
She is voiced by April Stewart.
Leslie is abused and mistreated by her parents due to their alcoholism. Leslie is one of the most abused cartoon characters in history. She has been beaten so badly that she cannot walk properly or eat normally without pain. When she does not take a bite from dinner before going to bed, her father beats her with a belt leaving marks all over her body. Her mother also abuses her by making her do horrible things like cleaning up after them both.
She is often called names such as "loser", "dummy" or "freak". She has become mentally unstable due to this abuse and now believes herself to be ugly and stupid. However, she still has some good moments such as when she receives love letters from boys.
Leslie suffers from ADHD and is very hyperactive. She can be a little bit of trouble at times but everyone loves her in spite of her abusive past. In the episodes "Full-Court Press" and "The Big Switch", she gets accepted into a school for gifted children.
Her parents call her a spoiled brat and a crybaby. Her brother Stewart protects her from them and tries to make her happy despite their neglect towards her. In "Partial Terms of Endearment", it shows that Leslie has gotten even worse due to her bullying and abusive parents. Leslie has gotten her foul language from her parents. In the episode "Two Wrongs Make A Right", her father beats her with a belt when she refuses to eat her vegetables. He then tells her that if she doesn't, he will beat her again.
