Lazlo is the main protagonist of the Cartoon Network series, Camp Lazlo. he is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Appearance

Lazlo is a spider monkey who has a mouth shaped like a banana and wears a Camp Kidney bean scout uniform.

Personality

Lazlo is a very happy-go lucky monkey. As a hippie, Lazlo loves peace. Lazlo has a serious case of Coulrophobia. Lazlo "goes where the wind blows" by his own statement.

  • In 2006, Lazlo won an award for "Best New Character" at the Pulcinella Awards.
  • In the Camp Lazlo two-part special, Where's Lazlo?, it reveals that he arrived to Camp Kidney by being delivered by his family's company truck.
  • Lazlo's voice actor, Carlos Alazraqui, also voiced Rocko from the animated Nickelodeon series, Rocko's Modern Life.

Appearances in other Cartoon Network media

  • Lazlo, along with Raj and Clam, all appeared during the end credits of the Codename: Kids Next Door crossover special, The Grim Adventures of the KND, where they had a mini-crossover with Evil Con Carne.
  • Lazlo made an appearance in the MAD episode, Once Upon a Toon.
  • Lazlo made a cameo appearance in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode, Crossover Nexus, where appeared as one of the Cartoon Network heroes summoned and defeated by the episode's main antagonist, Strike.
