Jiko-Bo (Jigo in the English dub) is the hidden main antagonist of Studio Ghibli's 1997 film Princess Mononoke. He at first appears to be a kind and peaceful monk Ashitaka meets after saving him and other villagers from a massacre during his journey to find a way to lift his curse but in actuality he turns out to be the one behind the plot to kill the Forest God as he plans to sell its head to the Emperor to become rich. He even convinced Lady Eboshi (the character who seemed like the main antagonist at first) to aid him in his scheme with the promise of sharing his reward money with her.
