Ivan is a supporting antagonist in Pixar's 12th full-length animated feature film Cars 2. He is a tow truck and servant to the head of the Hugo Crime Family, Victor Hugo.

Cars 2[]
In Cars 2, Ivan is the tow truck who works for Victor Hugo. He is Victor's personal transportation, towing him place to place. He also serves as a bodyguard. During the film, Mater disguises himself as Ivan to infiltrate the lemon meeting being held in Porto Corsa to get info. Holley Shiftwell tases Ivan before this so he doesn't blow their cover. Ivan later regains consciousness and captures Holley. When Mater was trying to get Lightning McQueen's attention in a crowd, the lemons grab him with Ivan taking his place. Ivan was last seen near the end of the film trying to attack Lightning McQueen only to be taken out by Mater and arrested in London with all the other lemon employers.
Cars 2: The Video Game[]
While Ivan himself doesn't actually appear in Cars 2: The Video Game, Ivan only appears as one of the skins/paint jobs for Mater like he did in the film. It is labeled as "Mater Ivan".
Trivia[]
- He is voiced by Stanley Townsend.
- Ivan's model is almost the same as Mater's, with their differences: Ivan has a grille (mustache), his hood is higher, doesn't have buck teeth, and shares Mack's same exact style of rims, even on his 1:55 scale model.
- Despite being dual-rear-wheeled, the rear wheels are the same as the front, which is a lie.
