Holly Spirio is a character from the eponymous Whirl: Ada and Friends segment. She is a parody of Mary Poppins and voiced by Melanie Wehrmacher.
About Holly[]
At Sunday school, after Roxie tells Otto, Ada, and Victor that their regular teacher, Ms. Jade, went out of town and that somebody will be substituting for her, Holly Spirio makes her entrance by floating down from a ceiling while carrying a bunch of balloons. She introduces herself to the kids and they wonder how she managed to come through the ceiling, wondering if she's a ghost. She denies this, saying that she's a person like they are and that she came through a hole in the ceiling. A hole is, in fact, revealed to be in the ceiling and Otto, surprised, claims that it wasn't there when they first looked up at it. Roxie tells the youngsters that Holly will be their advocate and help make them into Christians just like she was helped being made into one by her. When Otto asks what an advocate is, Holly explains through song, then Roxie joins in on it. Otto wonders just where the music is coming from suddenly. While they're singing, Victor tells the twins that he believes that Holly must be the Holy Spirit that they've heard about before. When Ada doubts this, Victor gives the theories about why this must be so, like her being an advocate and her surname being similar to the word "spirit". Once Holly and Roxie have finished singing and have a hearty laugh, Victor demands Holly she answers three questions for him and the others about her being the Holy Spirit. Holly chuckles heartily at this and says that she's just an advocate and that everything she does for others is by means of the true Holy Spirit. When Otto asks how and why she can easily pass through ceilings, she gives the simple explanation of her being British. Otto, Ada, and Victor accept this as a plausible explanation. The segment then ends with the camera panning back up to the ceiling with the hole and Holly, and Roxie, singing once again.

Holly is a slender lady. She and her attire are various shades of blue. She and her blouse are light sky blue. She has dark blue eyes, her parted hair and bowtie are the same. She wears a midnight blue bowler hat with a royal blue band around it and a bleu de France flower on the side. She wears a midnight blue jacket, shin-length skirt, and boots.
Personality[]
Holly has a positive attitude. She's sunny, sweet-tempered, charming, whimsical, and mellifluous with her tendency to break out into song.
