Harold is one of the main characters featured from Bunnicula. He is mixed breed dog and Mina's pet. He is voiced by Brian Kimmet.
History[]
Harold's history is mostly unknown, but it is known that Mina got him as a puppy during the last time she saw her old imaginary friend, Hamburger Cheese.
Appearance[]
Harold appears to be a short-haired, brown mutt or some breed of Herding Dog and has a blue collar, a big nose, small floppy ears, short tail, a mop of messy dark brown hair on top of his head, and a large round belly.
Personality[]
Harold is a typical loyal dog and loves his brothers, Chester and Bunnicula, and their owner, Mina, but isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and is very ignorant when it comes to Chester being in danger. However, Harold can be smart when the plot calls for it and is quite insightful when there is something suspicious going on. He also loves having fun with Bunnicula and goes along with his mischief.
Trivia[]
- In the books, Harold was a ponderous, thoughtful character, forced to put up with the eccentricities of Chester and the new rabbit. His appearance in the book is also remarkably different, resembling an Old English Sheepdog, though he claims to have Russian Wolf Hound in him as well.
- Sometimes, Harold eats things that are actually poison for dogs such as chocolate, pickles, and cheese. Usually in the books, he would question this whenever Toby tried to give him these things.
- Unlike Chester, Harold lives for Bunnicula's supernatural adventures and mischief, because they always lead to something exciting.
- Like Chester, Harold doesn't appears for four episodes.
