Gordy Duffy is a character from the short, Hanna-Barbera, TV pilot, Duffy's Dozen. He is one of seven boys, twelve kids overall, adopted by Mr. Duffy and Mrs. Duffy.
About Gordy[]
Gordy is among the adopted kids introduced as he's shown running with Dottie. It is mentioned that as this family lives in a camper, sharing it has it's challenges, such as taking turns at using the shower and sleeping in their ride. They travel in it around the U.S., sightseeing and visiting various landmarks.
Gordy and everyone else is each having a corn cob for lunch while at Yellowstone Park. Their lunch is interrupted after the family spots a bear exiting their RV, eating a cake, and carrying a bowling ball with its claw stuck in a hole in it. Alan gave the ursine a cookie earlier, inadvertently inviting it to enter the vehicle to raid it. The bowling ball belongs to Mr. Duffy, who isn't about to let it go that easily, so he follows the bear to get his ball back. Gordy and most of the other Duffy kids go with Mrs. Duffy while Corky runs off to get the park ranger. Gordy and the others return with a body stretcher and a first aid kit as they hurry over to Mr. Duffy, who tries to get his ball back while the bear sleeps. The park ranger arrives with a tranquilizer gun and fires a dart into Mr. Duffy, causing him to fall asleep as well. After Mr. Duffy successfully has his ball again, Gordy and the rest of the family resume traveling in their RV.
