Goldilocks is a character from the Terrytoons short, "The Three Bears", which is based on the original Goldilocks and The Three Bears story.
About Goldilocks[]
Goldilocks is skipping through the woods when she introduces herself to the viewers through song, then dances. While a family of Italian bears are away from their house, Goldilocks finds a fiddle laying in the front and plays it before entering and she finds three bowls of spaghetti, one for each of the bears. She picks up the spaghetti that's on a stick in the big bowl, and eats some. When the Bear family return, they find that someone has been eating their spaghetti and the son, Baby Bear's spaghetti is gone. The bears enter their bedroom where they find what seems to be Goldilocks sleeping in Baby Bear's bed. When Papa Bear removes the sheet, he finds her head but no body, as he points outs and observes. Goldilocks is actually sticking her head through a hole in the bed's headboard and removes it from there. She greets the family and asks if she can stay. But Papa Bear forces her to leave until he sees and hears her play the fiddle. She plays a slow, sad song, which moves Papa and Mama Bear to tears. Impressed and moved with how good she is at it, Papa Bear allows Goldilocks to stay. She then goes into another room and plays a swinging tune on the piano while Bear Bear plays a drum and trumpet. This gets everybody dancing to it.
Meanwhile, a hunter and his dog are searching for bears. Before long, they find the Bear family's house. There's a knock on the door, the bears are frightened, but Goldilocks approaches and answers it. She tells him to remove his hat in the presence of a lady and asks for his hunter's license. Telling him he must be hungry, she offers him some spaghetti. As he begins to tell her he doesn't want any, he has second thoughts, asking if she said spaghetti and she says that's right with cheese. He says he likes cheese, she says he would. The Bear family are hiding in another room, trembling while they listen and Papa Bear looks through the keyhole. She shows him a chair and he takes a seat. While the hunter eats, Goldilocks sneaks up behind him, replacing the rifle that was near the chair with a broom. Failing to realize he's holding a broom instead of a gun, he breaks into the Bear family's bedroom and points it at them. With the bears raising their arms in the air, the hunter orders Papa Bear and Baby Bear to strip off their fur coats. They comply and are revealed to wear long Johns underneath them. The rifle is revealed to be burning in the fireplace and shots are fired from it. The hunter turns around and notices what's going on when Goldilocks enters the room and kicks him in the rear. Then, Papa Bear tries to take some swings at him but misses while Goldilocks hits him in the behind with the broom. Papa Bear grabs the hunter's neck and tosses him at the piano where he hits his head. His head goes rolling across the piano's keys before Baby Bear moves the slide of a trombone he plays, blowing it at close range as Goldilocks plays the suspenders of his pants like a stringed instrument, then sends him across the room once she releases. Papa Bear punches nothing but air with his eyes closed, but decks the hunter that time and the hunter is thrown backwards, Mama Bear hits him with a drum, sending him back to Papa Bear, who keeps punching rapidly and blindly as he decks him again. The hunter falls into and breaks the skin of a larger drum, which rolls across the room with him in it. It rolls towards his dog, who tries to run out of the way, but ends up getting rolled over and the both end up outside the house. The dog's tail moves the drum pedal, hitting the hunter repeatedly who is knocked out cold. His dog then pulls him out of it and drags him away. Goldilocks and the bears resume their merrymaking of playing music and dancing. Goldilocks plays the fiddle, Mama Bear plays the piano, Baby Bear plays the trumpet, and Papa Bear dances.
Physical Appearance[]
Goldilocks is a slender girl with fair skin, curly, blonde locks that are shoulder-length, and black eyes. She wears sky blue hair bow with matching skirt; a white, puffy, short-sleeved blouse; a cadet blue vest with matching socks; and red flat shoes.
Personality[]
Goldilocks is jolly, friendly, and fun-loving. She is also brave and helpful.
