Goldilocks is a character from a segment of the literary anthology series, Papa Beaver's Story Time, the segment being based on Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

About Goldilocks[]

As Papa Beaver tells the story of a girl named Goldilocks, she is shown returning home from her outing in the woods. Papa Beaver says her mother tells her she should never venture in the woods by herself, because of the possible dangers lurking there. Another day, Goldilocks is outside again picking blue hyacinths, then she spots some white ones, which are prettier than the blue ones, and she collects them as well. Then, she gathers both colors of the flowers, making them into a bouquet. However, she ends up being lost and she cries when she has difficulty finding her way back. There are three different paths to take, but when she chooses one, she's still lost, as they're all the same in that they only take anyone back to the beginning. Suddenly, she smells something and it comes from a cottage. The smell is from not only one, but three bowls of soup. Goldilocks admires the house and the aroma of the soup smells so good, she decides to go inside to have some. Each bowl of soup is on a table near a chair, each of them is a different size. As she tries each of the bowls of soup, the first is too hot, the second is too salty, but the first is just right. Then, she tries each of the chairs. The biggest is too high for her to climb, the middle one is too hard, but the smallest one is just the right. Next, Goldilocks goes to a bedroom. The first bed is also too high, the second is too hard, but the third is just perfect. In fact, it's so comfortable, she falls asleep in it.

The home owners, a family of three bears, return home. The father and mother bears find their soup was partly eaten, but their son's soup bowl is empty. The bears also discover that someone has been sitting in their chairs. They find that someone has been lying in their beds. They spot the one who's responsible: Goldilocks. She wakes up to find the bruins in front of her. Frightened away, she leaps out of the little bear's bed and out the window. As she continues to flee, the bears just stay behind and watch her run off, they're amiable and have no interest in harming her. The father bear tells her she shouldn't enter other inhabitants' homes, the mother bear informs her that she forgot her flowers, and the little bear gives Goldilocks the directions of taking the third fork to return home. Goldilocks does just that. She runs towards her mom relieved and after what she'd just been through, she says, "I'd rather be here with you".
