Trisha Elric is a minor yet important character in the Fullmetal Alchemist series. She is the mother of Edward and Alphonse Elric who tragically passes away while they were still young driving them to attempt to bring her back to life with alchemy however this only ends up costing Ed his left leg and Alphonse his entire body forcing Ed to sacrifice his right arm to seal Al's soul in a nearby suit of armor forcing them to set out on a journey to restore their bodies.
