Blossom is the leader and the one of the Powerpuff Girls and one of the three titular main protagonists of the franchise of the same name.
Among the girls, she was named first. She is also one of the three titular protagonists with Bubbles and Buttercup in its manga sequel, Powerpuff Girls D.
She is voiced by Cathy Cavadini, who also voices Cooper Daniels from TV Show Ben 10. But in Powerpuff Girls Cereal, Tara Strong voices her, and in Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion, Grey DeLisle voices her.
Blossom is a 5-year-old girl with very long straight orange hair and bright pink eyes, and wears a sleeveless pink dress with a big black stripe in the middle. She wears a large red bow on the top of her head, a heart shaped hairclip at the back of her head, and white tights with black Mary Jane shoes.
Personality[]
Her personality ingredient is "everything nice". Blossom is the leader of the Powerpuff Girls and the oldest of the trio. Blossom is strong and mature and makes a majority of the girls' strategies when they fight crime.
She is also protective of her sisters Bubbles and Buttercup and will help them if they are in danger. Aside from being strong and smart, Blossom never gives up and is determined to stop her enemies at all costs. However, she is not above of punishing one of her sisters when they have gone too far such as when she let the villains beat up Buttercup for breaking their teeth for the dollar coins.
Weaknesses[]
All of the Powerpuff Girls have shown a complete weakness to fly-paper (Shown in the episode Stay Bullet).
The Powerpuff Girls can endure extreme temperatures, such as lava. But they are still vulnerable to extreme exposure of sunlight, which affects them similar to how ordinary people are affected. They can handle much greater exposure than regular humans though.
Blossom is afraid of not being there enough for everyone, not showing good enough leadership qualities, failing in class, etcetera. This can make her self confidence quite vulnerable at times.

Blossom has the least votes as the most favorite Powerpuff Girl, as proven by polls online.
In the introduction of the start of every episode, she is always the first to flash by the screen (as a pink girl-shaped blast) and the first to fly.
Craig McCracken has said that the bow that Blossom wears represents that she is the leader of the bunch.
Her back hair is designed to resemblea superhero cape.
Blossom is the only one in her family to wear hair accessories (not counting Bubbles since because hers aren't visible, so it is unsure if she wears them or not).
