Burt is an asiatic elephant from The Penguins of Madagascar.
Bio[]
Burt is an elephant. He spends his days eating peanuts. He drew many pictures in the episode Brush with Danger. He went to France in the episode Wishful Thinking. He defeated Savio in The big Squeeze. He follows the motto "An elephant never forgets, but he always forgives".
Personality[]
Burt is generally peaceful, honest, and cultured, he enjoys Victorian literature and is accomplished abstract artist. He is something of a gentle giant and a romanticist, generally remembering his youth with fondness. He apparently has a tattoo which he got when he was younger.
He will resort to violence if angered though, like in Loathe at First Sight where he stated he wanted to squeeze Kowalski until he popped. He can be a generally forgiving person even to people who have tormented him, like Kid Kazoo
As An Elephant[]
As an elephant, Burt spends the days eating peanuts. He also gets scared by mice, a fact Savio takes advantage of in All Tied Up With a Boa.

- He used to be annoyed by Kid Kazoo
- The zoo has at least two elephants, so maybe Burt and Darnell are not the same Elephant. Then again, if they only have two elephants the other one may be a female and Darnell is not a female name. For now Darnell and Burt will share this page as the same Elephant. If it turns out later that there is a Darnell and a Burt, we can create a page for Darnell.
- in Truth Ache his secret was he had a tattoo, he said he was young and foolish. He was believed he was going to say he was insane or 'in love'.
- He is seen in a trailer of the new game Dr. Blowhole Returns-Again (Game) as the penguins used his trunk to swing to the next platform.
- Even though Burt is a male he has no tusks.
- He and Marlene appear to have a close relationship, often seen together whether it's talking or any kind of interaction. Their friendship is noteable.
- Aside from the main characters (Skipper, Kowalski, Private, Rico, Julien, Maurice, Mort, Marlene, Mason and Phil), Burt is the most frequently appearing zoo animal in the series.
