Elizabeth Swann is the main protagonist of the first three films in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest and At World's End and a supporting protagonist in the fifth film Dead Men Tell No Tales. She is the daughter of Govenor Swann, current husband of Will Turner, and mother of Henry Turner. She had been kidnapped by Captain Barbossa and his crew of miscreants, but saved by Will Turner and Captain Jack Sparrow, who rescued her from drowning (due to not breathing through a corset). She becomes the pirate king in the third movie. She is portrayed by Keira Knightley.
