Drone is one of the long–lost puppets that has never used in films or in comics. He, along with another puppet known as Comb Queen were revealed at the Full Moon Toys booth in the late 1990's. At the booth there were sneak peaks of all the upcoming Full Moon merchandise and two action figures known as 'Japanese Puppet Master' of both Comb Queen and Drone. It is unknown what these figures were intended to be and what their connection was with the Puppet Master franchise. Some have speculated that they were going to appear in the canceled Puppet Wars trilogy, but that has never been confirmed.

Drone is a small pink and blue creature that has a squid-like head and appears to be stitched together out of fabric. He is also holding a weapon of some sorts.
