"Ah, ah, ah! You didn't say the magic word!"
- Dennis on a mischievous message on one of the Jurassic Park computers.
Dennis T. Nedry is the secondary antagonist of the first Jurassic Park film, as well as the main human antagonist of the film who was an obese and obnoxious computer programmer hired by Lewis Dodgson to steal dinosaur embryos and sell them for profit. In personality, Dennis is very selfish and he really hates John Hammond. His fate is when he met a young dilophosaurus and insulted it after it refused to chase the stick by scoffing "No wonder you're extinct". Dennis threatened to run over the dilophosaurus, but it came up to him and spat on his face twice. After the dilophosaurus spits on him the second time, Dennis screams in horror and gets in the Jurassic Park van. However, the dilophosaurus unexpectedly comes in along with Dennis, about to eat him alive. He is portrayed by actor Wayne Knight, who is heavily known for the role of Newman from the popular comedy series Seinfeld. Seeing as how he is played by Wayne Knight, he bears a similar personality to Dennis.
