Damian Desmond is a major character of the Spy × Family franchise. He's a six year old boy who attends Eden Academy as part of Cecile Hall, Group 3. He's the second-born son of Donovan and Melinda Desmond and the younger brother of Demetrius Desmond. Damian is the primary target of Loid's Plan B of Operation Strix, which consists of making him and Anya's friends in order to get close to Desmond himself. He's voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara, who also voiced Abigail Jones in The Great Pretender and Giorno Giovanna as a child in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In the English dub, he is voiced by Caitlin Glass, who also voiced Winry Rockbell in both Fullmetal Alchemist series, Cammy White in Street Fighter series, and Haruhi Fujioka in Ouran High School Host Club.

Damian Desmond is a very short boy, with short, unkempt, brunette hair, brown eyes, ivory skin, and is always seen wearing his standard school uniform, which is mostly black with the white neck folded and pointing outward, and golden buttons lining vertically down the front, with a gold star on the left side of the chest.
Personality[]
Damian is initially portrayed as an unpleasant and arrogant bully who uses his status as a member of the Desmond clan in order to walk over and mistreat other kids at school. This façade, however, is a cover for his deep insecurities, caused by his rocky relationship with his parents. Damian is constantly trying to seek validation from his neglectful father, Donovan, this being one of his main motivations to become an Imperial Scholar. Despite this initial presentation, Damian is shown to actually care a lot about his friends, particularly Emile and Ewen, whom he spends a lot of time with and always looks up on them as a younger brothers figure. He holds his older brother in high regard, and enjoys what little time they get to share, although Damian also occasionally feels jealousy due to Demetrius's academic excellence that has gained the attention of their father. He also has a crush on Anya Forger but is unwilling to admit it in order to maintain his status at school. Since Damian doesn't have any adult to look out for him, he often looks to the Eden Academy staffs for help or guidance. He despises his sisters-in-law and often talks to his two best friends Emile Elman and Ewen Egeburg, and sometimes Loid and Yor Forger about his problems. He sees his older brother in person only rarely, but he often talks to him on the telephone.

Damian was born 7 years prior to the events of the series as the second son of Donovan and Melinda Desmond. As the heir of the Desmond family, Damian had a privileged upbringing among the high society of Ostania. Despite this, Damian had a estranged relationship with his parents, especially his father, who neglected him for most of his early childhood in favor of his older brother prodigy, Demetrius. Because of their distant relationship, Damian made it his life goal to impress him by becoming an Imperial Scholar like his older brother. At one point, following the steps of his father and his older brother Donovan and Demetrius respectively, Damian was enrolled into the prestige Eden College, where he would begin elementary school.
Spy x Family[]
Damian is introduced after Anya passes the Entrance Exam. He is assigned to Cecile Hall alongside Anya Forger and Becky Blackbell, looking smugly on Anya due to perceiving her as lower-class. After Damian bullies both Anya and Becky alongside Emile and Ewen, Anya punches him across the hall resulting in her getting her first Tonitrus Bolt. The next day, Anya tries to apologize to Damian for the sake of her father's mission, but keeps getting interrupted by outside factors and especially Becky. After Loid, who had infiltrated the school, fakes a call to the principal in order to distract Becky, Anya goes up to Damian in the cafeteria to apologize to him in tears. While doing so, Damian begins feeling nervous around her and feeling his heart flutter. Realizing he had caught feelings for Anya, Damian yells at her and runs away in embarrassment, refusing to accept he had a crush on a "commoner".
