Croco (Mario)

Croco is a crocodile villain in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He is a minor boss that appears throughout the game.

Appearance

Croco is purple in color and appears to wear clothes. He also wears a red top hat on his head.

History

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

The first encounter with Croco is at Mushroom Kingdom in Bandit's Way. He steals a Frog Coin from Mallow and Mario and Mallow chases him through the outskirts of town. Later, they battle Croco to regain Mallow's Frog Coin. When Mario and Mallow defeat him, he states that the coin is stupid.

Croco is re-encountered at Moleville Mines where he steals Mario coins and runs around in a square. Mario can either chase him or wait for him to return. Afterwards, Mario regains his coins.

Croco can also be seen for the last time in Bowser's Keep. This time, he actually helps Mario and his team by selling them items and gear. Croco soon leaves right after Mario has brought items from him and leaves the room. Croco also makes a cameo appearance in the parade at the end of the game.
