City Mouse (Manga Aesop's Fables film)

City Mouse is a character from Toei Animation's Manga Aesop's Fables. He is an anthropomorphic mouse and Skitter's cousin who lives in an urban area.

About City Mouse

City Mouse meets Aesop and Silkwing as they're walking down a path. They have a conversation that includes him mentioning that he is the cousin of Skitter, who Aesop came across earlier after entering the fantastical world. The three go back to where Skitter is and Aesop, and Silkwing, are introduced to him. Skitter invites everyone to his place for lunch, but City Mouse finds that while the food may be healthier, it isn't all that appetizing. He invites them to his city where they can eat some tastier food. That night, they sneak into the kitchen of a seemingly deserted mansion, find the food, and dine. But their meal is interrupted when City Mouse hears voices and they hide. A cat and his three chef cats enter the kitchen. The cat says he's fed up with having his favorite meal as the same dinner every night and that this time he's in the mood for a mouse. When the cats leave, City Mouse tells the others it's safe to come out of hiding. But they're interrupted again and surprised when the cats suddenly return. The cat orders his chef cats to catch the mice, but Aesop and Silkwing manage to keep them at bay by throwing items at them. A sheet falls on the cats and they get caught under it. Seeing this as opportunity to escape, City Mouse and the others dash back outside. Skitter tells his cousin that the city food may be better, but he doesn't find it worth it to go through all the trouble of sneaking around just to get some. City Mouse understands, but before Skitter and his new friends leave, he gives them all cat nip pies to take with them for the road. After that, they say bye to each other and the City Mouse tells them to come back and visit anytime.

Physical Appearance

City Mouse is a skinny mouse with mostly dark periwinkle fur, parted gray hair, and black eyes. The insides of his big, round ears, the underside of his snout, the area on the lower part of his mouth, paws, and his belly are white. He wears a red acorn with a bright orange streak around it as a hat, blush pink bowtie, brink pink pants with yellow, round buttons near the top, yellow suspenders, and brink pink pointed shoes.

City Mouse is friendly, chatty, cordial, generous, easygoing, and understanding.
