His family comes from a tribe of orange giants known as Chulks from the country of Chulkistan. His cousins and "Chuncle" Joe are Chulks just like him. Chum Chum first met Fanboy when both were young, and Chum Chum poked Fanboy's eye. Chum Chum currently lives and has lots of fun as a roommate with Fanboy. As he is quite short, he learns that being the smallest person is sometimes fun.
Personality[]
Chum Chum is extremely energetic, high-spirited, and possesses an indomitable enthusiasm and childlike jocularity.
As Fanboy's best friend, Chum Chum is naive and always full of fun.
In comparison to Fanboy, Chum Chum is usually the more sweet, mellow and "less intense" of the two, though he still is hyperactive in his own right.
Chum Chum is always smarter than Fanboy and points out the stronger concept than what he said. Despite being the smarter one of the two, he can be very gullible and foolish at times.
He is also loyal and will always stand up for Fanboy no matter what.
Physical Appearance[]
Chum Chum is short and chubby, with peach skin. He has a blush on his cheeks. He has dark brown hair with bangs swoop to the left. There are two parts at the top, that curl away from each other. His right front tooth in his upper jaw is slightly larger than the left.
He usually wears an orange shirt with short yellow shelves and his logo on the chest. On the bottom, he wears a pair of yellow footless tights. Relationships[]
Fanboy[]
Fanboy is Chum Chum's best friend. Despite their differences, the duo gets along very well. They share many interests, agrees with the other's ideas, perform elaborate song and dance numbers to express their appreciation for each other. The two met at a preschool as toddlers and they currently live at the Fanlair as a heroic duo. Chum Chum is Fanboy's sidekick and cares deeply for his best friend by expressing his upmost loyalty and care with hugs, kisses, and cuddles.
Kyle[]
Although Kyle gets annoyed at both Fanboy & Chum Chum, he is less annoyed with Chum Chum likely due to being a bit more mellow, as well as being more tolerable out of the two. Though Kyle and Chum Chum's sole interactions are rare, they get along very well on-screen. Kyle also places more trust in Chum Chum as shown in the episode “Speed Eraser” when he wanted Chum Chum to retrieve his wand after having his body erased.
Yo[]
Yo bears a strong, crazy obsession towards Chum Chum. When the opportunity opens to her, she often tries to steal Chum Chum, but this interaction always engages Fanboy to reprimand her and save Chum Chum. Though Chum Chum is a bit intimidated by her and gets annoyed with her constant attempts to steal him, he still holds no resentment towards her. He even considers Yo a friend. Chum Chum and Yo's friendship isn't displayed too much on-screen due to her un-ending obsession with him.
Lenny[]
Unlike Kyle, who expresses his resentment towards Fanboy and Chum while secretly desiring their friendship, Lenny absolutely HATES the duo. His hatred is so severe that he even used Dollar-nator as a time machine to to revert to the prior 5 years and do what he could to cut any connection with the boys and his former self in the episode “Back From The Future”. Though Chum Chum and Lenny never held a one-on-one interaction with each other, Lenny despises them both equally. Although Chum Chum is unaware of Lenny’s contempt and disgust, he cares about Lenny.
Boog[]
Boog is the bully that torments Fanboy and Chum Chum. At one point, Chum Chum stuck up for Fanboy after Boog bopped him into the produce aisle, however, this resulted in boog threatening and mocking Chum Chum for his small stature in the episode “The Incredible Chulk”.
Oz Harmounian[]
As Chum Chum's second-best friend and "sensei", Oz will occasionally tag along with Fanboy and Chum Chum's adventures. Oz and Chum Chum both share a good a solid friendship with one another. Chum Chum is a regular visitor at Oz's shop, Oz Comix where would occasionally purchase a comic book or an action figure. Chum Chum will also look up to Oz for guidance when something wrong happens. Although Chum Chum has un-intentionally caused some damage to Oz's items, such as the Crabulus action figure in the episode “The Hard Sell”, Their friendship is overall positive.
Marsha[]
Unlike Fanboy, in “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha”, it was revealed that Marsha was one of Chum Chum’s friends, because he did not sneeze on Marsha’s test. But overtime, their friendship became so weak to the point that they eventually became enemies. This was also revealed in “Face-Eating Aliens From Planet X”.
Episode Appearances[]
Like Fanboy, Chum Chum has also appeared in every episode in the series so far.
Skills and Abilities[]
Chum Chum can jump very high as shown in many episodes.
In “Fanboyfriend” he gained the abilities of flight, laser projection and invisibility.
In “Brain Freeze” he had used a more enhanced form of laser projection.
He has the ability to use "big pleading eyes" on someone to persuade them to do something.
