Chris Robinson is a supporting character of the 1969 children's show Sesame Street. He is the nephew of Gordon and Susan, college student, and a worker at Hooper's Store.

Biography[]

Chris moves to Sesame Street to find a job in order to raise money for college textbooks. He finds in the newspaper an ad for a gym teacher but discovers that he was hired by Count Von Count to do exercises so he can count them. Chris finds another job as a cookie salesman with Cookie Monster but Cookie Monster keeps eating the cookies.

Chris then tries a job as a dance partner for Horatio the Elephant only to quit after discovering he will be paid peanuts instead of money. Chris is about to give up on finding a job until he says a "Help Wanted" ad in the window for Hooper's Store. Chris meets Alan, the owner of the store, and is hired as an employee. Chris has since been a reccuring character on the show.

Chris is a man with dark skin and black hair. Chris is also shown wearing polo shirts with designs of different objects or animals.
