When Chirag came back to Greg's town when his family decides to go back to town after moving away, Greg and his classmates start this joke where he's invisible and they pretend to not notice him and treat like he was still gone. Instead, that backfires and Greg said there was a floating corn dog and ate it, much to Chirag's anger. He eventually reported on Greg about the joke, but Vice Principal Roy ended up making Greg apologize to the wrong person, Sharif. After Chirag's dad told Susan about the joke, Greg went to Chirag's house to apologize for the correct person, and Chirag was kind enough to let Greg play one of his video games with Greg.
