Buck Bearingly is a race car that formerly competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series for the View Zeen team with the number 39. In Cars 3, Buck takes part of the 2016 Piston Cup season at the beginning and was one of the many stock cars to still stay in the Piston Cup until the very end of the season with the likes of Lightning McQueen. During the Los Angeles 500, he can be seen struggling against racing Herb Curbler for position in a similar fashion to how Lightning McQueen was against Danny Swervez. At the end of the season Buck retired and View Zeen replaced him with a Next-Gen racer named, Michael Rotor.
