Brool is a furry whatnot creature, only slightly larger than the average Fraggle; who lives in the cave systems of Fraggle Rock. He is one of the Minstrels who followed Cantus on Fraggle Rock. He plays a stringed instrument and debuted with his fellow musicians in the episode "The Minstrels."
The puppet was later repurposed for use as a background character in several Muppet productions, including The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, and Muppets Tonight.
He further appears on the cover of the book Kermit Learns How Computers Work.

- Brool has a little bit of resemblance to Klungo from the Banjo-Kazooie series for the snout. Everything else looks different.
