Brock is a character in the Pokémon franchise, appearing in a few games, the anime, and the Pokémon Adventures manga. He is the Gym Leader at the Pewter City Gym, and specializes in Rock Type Pokémon.
Appearance[]
Brock is a male human of medium complexion, with spiky brown hair. His eyes appear to be shut almost all of the time. His clothing varies based on the work he's in, but usually consists of a vest or jacket of some kind, a pair of pants, and shoes, all in a pallet consisting of gray, green, and orange.
History[]
In the Games[]
Brock appears as the Gym Leader of the Pewter City Gym in all Kanto-based games, as well as the Johto-based games. He later appears in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, participating in the Rock Type Specialists Tournament at the PWT.
In the Anime[]
Brock initially appeared in the Pokémon anime as the Pewter City Gym Leader, and then starting traveling with Ash. He appeared in the journeys throughout the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh Regions. At the end of the Sinnoh arc, his Chansey evolved into Blissey, and he started to become a doctor. He makes reappearances in the Alola and Journeys arcs, as well as Ash's final episodes.
