Bob Belcher is the titular character of the FOX animated series Bob's Burgers.
Appearance
Bob is a tall, paunchy and hairy man with fair skin and brown eyes. He has a wide moustache along with a receding hairline and a bald spot shaped like an upside down burger. He is 6'1" according to his official standee.
He wears a light-gray T-shirt with gray pants, brown belt, white socks and black shoes. When working, he wears a white apron with a breast pocket with a black pen sticking out of it.
Background
In 1967, Bob was born to his father Bob Sr. and an unnamed woman. As a child Bob worked at his father's restaurant called Bob Bob's Diner, which he didn't really enjoy doing as his father wouldn't let him have fun or be creative while doing so.
He had a good relationship with his mother but a bad one with his father. Eventually in his childhood his mother passed away, leaving only his father to raise him from that point.
Bob continued working at his father's restaurant until his 24th birthday when his father, as a birthday present, showed him that he changed the sign of his restaurant to "Bob and Son's". Bob declined on this change and then proceeded to throw an outburst, telling Bob Sr. that it is impossible to work with him. He was then thrown out of the diner as Bob Sr. saw this as Bob embarrassing him. It was this day when Bob conceived the idea to open up his own restaurant.
He first met Linda in a bar after Linda stabbed him in the face by accident with her engagement ring from her then fiancé, Hugo. With it getting stuck onto his moustache, which ultimately made Linda attracted to him. They would later get married on September 3, 1998. They would later go on to have their 3 kids, Tina, Gene and Louise.
