Bill Sikes is the main antagonist of Charles Dickens's famous novel Oliver Twist and its many adaptations. He is a housebreaker (house robber) who is an associate of Fagin and Monks. He is cruel to Oliver, even threatening the boy with a pistol. He is most distinguishable by his dog, Bullseye, and his scruffy appearance. He is accompanied by Nancy and Betty, two girls who are basically disciples of his business. He has almost no sympathy for anyone else, and is afraid of everyone, even his aforementioned friends. This paranoia even causes him to kill Nancy near the end, and almost kills Noah for giving up Sikes position.
