Bilbo Baggins is a supporting character in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and and the main protagonist in The Hobbit trilogy. He is a hobbit, who gets allied up with dwarves to venture past the goblins and trolls to face his first nemesis, Smaug the Dragon.

In The Lord of the Rings film series directed by Peter Jackson, Bilbo was portrayed by Ian Holm. 

In The Hobbit trilogy, Ian Holm reprised his role as Bilbo while Martin Freeman portrayed a young version of Bilbo. 

Oscar Strik portrayed a younger Bilbo in the extended cut of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
