Barbara "Bebe" Stevens is one of the main characters on the animated television series Red And Friends. She first appeared in the pilot episode on February 20, 1997.
Bebe attends South Park Elementary as part of Mr. Garrison's 4th grade class for the first 58 episodes. Bebe and the other child characters were in the third grade following which they have been in the fourth grade. She lives in South Park with her parents Mr and Mrs Stevens, and her 10-year-old sister Stewart. Bebe became famous in the 2nd grade because of her sister's signature red hair. She is voiced by series creator Nolan Splavec.
Bebe is more mature than her sister Stewart who is often seen as a brat by everyone including Bebe. In the second season she often gets bullied by Eric Cartman and is also very attractive to boys and girls alike but is usually ignored which makes her feel like crap. Bebe is also a fan of music, especially boy bands such as Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, New Kids On The Block, NKOTB and 98°. Bebe is also loved by most of her classmates despite being a 4th grader due to her looks and charm. Bebe is shown to be a bossy, spoiled, arrogant, feminine, and confident girl with an attitude problem. She has a tendency to get into fights over trivial matters, which leads to her getting detention or suspended from school. Bebe is sometimes a psychopathic bully and instigates violence against people without provocation. Despite this, she can be sweet at times and is not completely evil. When Bebe gets angry, she starts stomping around and yelling, much like a child would do. Bebe loves her sister Stewart and will try to help her out whenever possible. Bebe is also known to be very hot-headed.
As one of Mr. Garrison's students, Bebe is frequently taunted by Eric Cartman. However, she seems to get along well with Kyle Broflovski despite his constant bullying her. Bebe's catchphrases are "Oh my God!" and "What?" She is portrayed as a typical bully. She enjoys teasing children of both genders and occasionally older men and women. Bebe is also shown to be smart and clever enough to trick others into doing what she wants them to do, as evidenced by her use of her sister Stewart when she needs. Bebe and her sister Stewart have a strong sibling relationship. They love each other dearly but can fight with each other easily.
