Bear is a character from the short, Hanna-Barbera TV pilot, Duffy's Dozen. It raids the Duffys' camper for food and takes Mr. Duffy's bowling ball.
About Bear[]
While the Duffys have their corn cobs for lunch at Yellowstone Park, a bear has helped itself to some food supplies in the family's camper. Unaware of the dangers of doing this, Alan had given the bear a cookie earlier. As the bear exits and leaves the vehicle, it eats a whole cake, then tries eating a bowling ball, but can't chew it. One of its claws gets stuck in a hole. After trying in vain to get it out, the bear looks at the viewers and shrugs before continuing its walk. The bowling ball belongs to Mr. Duffy and he wants so much to have it back, going after the bear. As Mr. Duffy comes out from a bush and finds the bear asleep, he approaches it and attempts to pry the ball from its claw to no avail. In its sleep, the bear flings Mr. Duffy from one side to another. The other Duffys return with the park ranger and a stretcher. The ranger sets his sights on Mr. Duffy and shoots a sedation dart in him, putting him to sleep next to the bear.
Physical Appearance[]
The bear is large and muscular, mostly covered in brown fur.
